Position Summary
The Senior Program Lead – Program Support
will report to the Director – Programs and play a key role in supporting the implementation of TAF’s strategic interventions. The individual will work across key programmatic areas such as Project Anugami, facility based intervention, System strengthening initiatives, Community AAA/AAA Platform and other community-based innovations. The role requires a dynamic and proactive individual who is logical, analytical, skilled in facilitation and documentation and able to work across multiple functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Implementation & Support
- Lead and provide end-to-end support for planning, rollout, and monitoring of TAF interventions, including Anugami, C/AAA platform, facility-based intervention, system strengthening, and home/community engagement models.
- Ensure smooth implementation of interventions by providing technical guidance to field teams.
- Track program deliverables, timelines, and outcomes to ensure effective and timely execution.
- Cross-functional Coordination
- Act as a bridge between program, M&E, operations, partnerships, and data teams to ensure seamless alignment.
- Facilitate smooth information flow, timely issue resolution, and decision-making across teams.
- Support district and block-level teams in addressing challenges and encourage cross-learning.
- Program & Team Management
- Lead implementation in assigned geographies, ensuring program quality and accountability.
- Supervise and handhold program staff, providing day-to-day oversight and guidance.
- Facilitation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate internal planning meetings, review workshops, and joint learning sessions with teams.
- Represent TAF in forums with state-level government stakeholders and partner organizations.
- Build strong working relationships with external stakeholders to strengthen program effectiveness.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Develop reports, briefs, case studies, and other knowledge products to capture program design and field insights.
- Systematically document processes, innovations, and learnings to enable replication and scaling.
- Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for leadership and donor engagements.
- Analytical & Strategic Support
- Use data and field insights for adaptive program management and timely course correction.
- Support the Director – Programs in strategic planning, donor reporting, and new program proposal development.
- Refine theories of change, logical frameworks, and intervention design for stronger impact.
Skills And Experience Required.
- Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in program implementation, preferably in health, nutrition, or community development. Exposure to scalable, systems-level public health programs will be a plus.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects and mid-level program teams. Prior experience in central and northern Indian states (Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi) will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of government health systems, community platforms, and frontline health worker dynamics. Familiarity with government departments such as Health, ICDS, and Panchayati Raj will be desirable.
- Proven ability to coordinate across teams, facilitate meetings, and manage complex workflows.
- Demonstrated experience in program documentation, reporting, and knowledge management.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking with problem-solving ability. Attention to detail and ability to synthesize information clearly.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi (verbal and written).
- Skilled in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-team coordination.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital collaboration tools.
