Research Requirement: At least 20 published research papers in reputed peer-reviewed or indexed journals

Role Overview:

Vestor College of Management invites applications from dynamic and seasoned academic professionals for the position of Senior Professor – Management. The selected candidate will play a dual role — as a senior faculty member for delivering high-impact classroom teaching and as a mid-level academic administrator, overseeing curriculum execution, academic compliance, and institutional development activities. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a robust academic portfolio, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks like AICTE and NAAC.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Instruction & Research

• Deliver lectures in core and advanced management subjects

• Mentor students and junior faculty in academic and research matters

• Supervise dissertations, projects, and academic publications

• Continue contributions to research with regular publications in indexed journals (Scopus, UGC-CARE, etc.)

• Initiate and lead academic seminars, FDPs, conferences, and case development

Academic Coordination & Curriculum Oversight

• Assist management in curriculum design and periodic industry-aligned updates

• Supervise scheduling of classes, academic calendar implementation, and faculty assignments

• Monitor academic delivery and student performance metrics

• Ensure holistic development of academic processes with quality benchmarks

AICTE / NAAC / University Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with AICTE, NAAC, and University guidelines

• Prepare and submit reports for inspections, assessments, and accreditations

• Create and oversee required statutory committees as per AICTE/NAAC mandates

• Monitor AICTE and regulatory body communications and ensure timely response

Student Engagement & Placement Support

• Promote student participation in research, innovation, and AICTE-sponsored events

• Actively support training, internships, and placement efforts in coordination with the placement cell

• Bridge the gap between academia and industry by initiating guest lectures, MDPs, and panel discussions

Institutional Development & Leadership

• Act as a liaison between faculty, students, and senior management

• Contribute to strategic academic planning, quality assurance, and institutional development

• Support the onboarding and development of junior faculty

• Ensure implementation of academic policies and disciplinary frameworks

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:

Ph.D. in Management or a related discipline from a reputed university/institution

• Experience:

Minimum 20 years of post-Ph.D. academic experience in teaching/research/administration in a recognized university or professional institution

• Research:

Minimum 20 research papers published in peer-reviewed / indexed national or international journals

• Additional Skills:

• Strong administrative and leadership capabilities

• Sound knowledge of academic compliance processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to drive academic excellence and innovation
