What You''ll Do

Avalara''s Integrated Marketing team is looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Manager Product Marketing to help drive growth across our ESB/SMB ecosystem. This will focus on DAVO by Avalara, our sales tax automation solution for small brick-and-mortar businesses that seamlessly integrates with point-of-sale (POS) systems to set aside, file, and pay sales tax automatically.

You''ll work with a team on full-funnel growth marketing connecting awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention into a unified strategy that scales our ESB/SMB strategy across the U.S.

Its a cross-functional role that bridges brand marketing, digital acquisition, product marketing, and partner marketing to drive measurable growth across our ecosystem. Reporting to Director

This is an Individual contributor role.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Develop an integrated marketing strategy to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for DAVO within Avalara''s SMB portfolio.
  • Lead multi-channel campaigns (paid, organic, email, social, and partnerships) to drive high-intent traffic and conversions.
  • Leverage data and experimentation to continually improve campaign efficiency and conversion rates.
  • Partner with Product, Support, and Onboarding to continually improve onboarding, engagement, and retention programs that reduce churn and grow NRR.
  • Define and monitor growth KPIs including pipeline velocity, CAC/LTV, INQ-MQL conversion, and trial-to-paid conversion rates.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership on marketing performance.

What You''ll Need to be Successful

  • Proven experience managing integrated campaigns across digital, lifecycle, and partner channels.
  • 10-12+ years in B2B or SMB growth marketing, ideally within SaaS or Hospitality.
  • Analytical background with experience in campaign measurement, attribution, and marketing automation (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Manage global stakeholders and balance long-term brand growth with short-term performance goals.
  • Experience with applying data storytelling translating performance insights into clear and actionable recommendation for leaders
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing Power BI for trend analysis, funnel visualization, and forecast modeling to inform full-funnel business decisions
  • Experience marketing to SMB or POS-based businesses, compliance marketing experience
