Senior Design

What You'll Do:

• Lead the Visi

  on: Define and drive the long-term roadmap for the design system, balancing the needs of product teams with the system's overall health and scalability

• Build & Mainta

  in: Oversee the creation, documentation, and maintenance of a robust component library, tokens, and style guides in collaboration with design and engineering teams.

• Champion Adopti

  on: Act as an advocate for the design system, developing and executing a strategy to increase its adoption and impact across the organization.

• Collaborate & Gove

  rn: Establish clear governance models and contribution guidelines to ensure the system grows sustainably and meets the needs of a diverse set of users

• Educate & Ment

  or: Provide guidance and mentorship to other designers on how to effectively use the design system and contribute to its improvement.

• Communicate & Influen

  ce: Serve as a brilliant communicator, confidently articulating the value and strategy of the design system to a wide range of stakeholders, from executives to engineers

What You'll Bring

• Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experi

  ence in product or UX design, with a proven track record of successfully building, launching, and scaling design systems.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of component architecture, accessibility (WCAG), and documentation.
• Expertise in tools that enhance the production and governance of a design system, with deep knowledge of creating token-based and headless design systems.
• A strong portfolio that showcases a keen eye for visual design and aesthetics, with a focus on detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to handle a variety of stakeholders and articulate complex ideas with confidence.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML/CSS, React, or Vue to understand the technical constraints and possibilities.
• Experience leading a small team or mentoring other designers.
• A passion for creating scalable, reusable, and delightful user experiences.
• Experience and knowledge of how to leverage AI tools to improve design and system efficiency.
