As a Senior Procurement Executive at Proqsol Consultants in Cochin, you will play a crucial role in supporting the UN procurement division by managing global procurement cycles for United Nations organizations, with a specialization in IT products and systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and track RFQs from identified tender portals. - Analyze and interpret RFQs and tender documents from UN agencies, particularly related to ICT products and systems. - Understand technical specifications for IT and networking hardware such as servers, routers, switches, UPS systems, storage solutions, etc. - Identify suitable brands, models, and suppliers based on specific country requirements and project goals. - Prepare and submit technically compliant and commercially competitive bids/tenders. - Evaluate and select appropriate freight methods (air/sea) based on destination, project urgency, and cost factors. **Soft Skills & Competencies:** - Ensure compliance with international ICT standards, certifications, and compatibility with country-specific systems. - Coordinate with internal teams to align sourcing strategy, pricing, and timelines with project demands. - Possess excellent communication skills with a strong command of English in both commercial and technical aspects. - Demonstrate precision and clarity in handling RFQs, bid documentation, and vendor communication. - Be self-motivated and capable of independently managing procurement for multiple global projects. - Have a good understanding of technology trends, IT hardware market, and vendor ecosystem. - Be organized and process-oriented, with the ability to work under tight deadlines. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in procuring IT and networking equipment for global or institutional clients. - Working knowledge of international freight methods and documentation. - Experience with UN or similar international organizations is a strong advantage. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and procurement/ERP software.
