Job responsibilities & description: Support sourcing and vendor evaluation for FMCG CAPEX such as manufacturing equipment, packaging lines, utilities, warehousing, and automation. Assist in the RFQ process, including preparation, circulation, techno-commercial comparison, and documentation. Participate in commercial negotiations with OEMs, EPCs, and contractors under senior supervision. Coordinate with suppliers for drawings, technical clarifications, manufacturing progress, inspections, dispatch, and installation support. Work with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of CAPEX procurement. Support purchase order creation, amendments, tracking, and closure in ERP systems. Monitor delivery timelines, compliance, payment milestones, and basic supplier performance metrics. Ensure adherence to procurement policies, safety standards, statutory compliance, and governance requirements. Desired Skills & Qualities: Working knowledge of CAPEX sourcing, RFQ analysis, and commercial evaluation Exposure to FMCG plant, packaging, utilities, or warehouse CAPEX Basic understanding of commercial terms, contracts, and negotiations Strong supplier coordination and stakeholder communication Proficiency in Excel, ERP/SAP, and documentation control (Practical use of Excel Formulas, Tables & SAP T-codes for analytics) Salary range (CTC): Rs. 4.5 lacs to 6.0 lacs.
