Job Summary:

The Procurement candidate will be responsible for planning, sourcing, initial level negotiating, and procuring materials and services required for projects, ensuring timely availability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Procure all project-related materials and services in line with project specifications and schedules.
Develop and maintain vendor database; evaluate and help in finalizing suppliers.
Study and compare pricing, terms, and contracts to understand cost optimization.
Coordinate with project, planning, and finance teams for material requirements and budgets.
Ensure timely delivery of materials at site as per project schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and minimize wastage.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
Prepare purchase orders, comparative statements, and procurement reports.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes.
Should be well versed in preparing comparative statements, rate analysis, and cost-saving reports.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Strong ethical values.
Strong vendor negotiation and cost-control skills.
Strong coordination and communication abilities.
