Job brief

We are looking for an innovative Sr. Procurement Executive. You will spearhead the purchasing process, ensuring stock optimization, inventory planning/forecasting, and guiding sourcing and procurement processes across multiple time zones.

You will be a supply chain and logistics expert who will specialize in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services, as required by the company. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company's and useingcompany's effective sourcing strategies. Forecast and plan for a 6-month inventory in multiple locations, and optimize s policies and procedures on supply chain management will be some of your main priorities when carrying out this role.

Responsibilities:

    • Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies Forecast and plan for 6 months' inventory in multiple locations, and optimise inventory holding at each warehouse.
    • Able to coordinate with internal stakeholders (sales and warehouse teams) for planning of inventory as per sales demands and stock holding.
    • Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
    • Finalize purchase details of orders, deliveries, and stock receipts.
    • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
    • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
    • Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
    • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
    • Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
    • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effectiv Be able to work with freight forwarders and organise necessary paperwork for shipments, and provide the same to relevant parties for customs clearance in advance,

Requirements and skills:

    • Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer
    • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as a dexterity in reading the market
    • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
    • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
    • Experience in collecting and analysing data
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • in-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
    • Be able to work on Live Documents for dynamic updating and planning of inventory
    • Be able to work in multiple time zones.

Qualification & Experience:

    • MBA/BSc degree in supply chain management, Procurement, logistics Operations, or related field
    • 5+ years of experience in procurement (manufacturing/FMCG preferred
    • Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes
    • Experience in multi-location or international procurement
    • Exposure to Exports, logistics, and Incoterms.
