SLB Capturi
is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Designer to join our Carbon Capture project team in Mumbai.
This role involves working on FEED and Detailed Engineering projects, leading a team of designers responsible for process deliverables. Successful candidate will oversee the development of process diagrams using the AVEVA Diagram platform throughout both FEED and detailed engineering phases. This will be a Payroll position, in SLB Capturi India Private Ltd, Mumbai.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 10-15 designers, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality deliverables
- Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects to maximize efficiency
- Develop, maintain, and implement checklists for process deliverables to ensure compliance and consistency
- Proactive problem-solving approach to resolve design and workflow challenges
- Actively participate in project meetings and AVEVA user forums across disciplines within the organization
- Take initiative to enhance and extend AVEVA tool capabilities for improved performance
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and project management teams to align AVEVA tools with project goals
- Provide training and guidance to team members and AVEVA users
- Promote best practices and knowledge transfer across disciplines
- Demonstrate strong understanding of engineering workflows and data structures
- Ensure smooth execution of projects in high-pressure environments
Knowledge/skills required:
- Diploma / B.E. / B. TECH
- 7 to 12 year overall experience in Process Designer with minimum 2 years as administrator role
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an AVEVA Diagram administrator
- Proven experience in P&ID software tools such as AVEVA, SP-P&ID, Auto CAD for preparing & updating various process deliverables like P&ID, PFD, UFD etc
- Strong proficiency in AVEVA Diagram and BricsCAD features
- Ability to leverage advanced AVEVA functionalities for efficient and smart workflows
- Skilled in generating accurate, error-free reports from AVEVA
- Proactive in identifying bugs/errors and coordinating their resolution
- Capable of understanding project requirements and executing deliverables smoothly (e.g., templates, title blocks, legends, revision management)
- Competent in database monitoring & revision management
- Excellent technical communication skills (verbal & writing) in English
- Awareness of data integration between AVEVA Diagram, AVEVA Engineering, and AVEVA E3D, including data transfer across databases
