Position Overview:


  • Profile: Senior Presale Consultant

  • Year of experience: 5+ years

  • Office Location: - Navi Mumbai (On Site)


As a Senior Presales Consultant at Motadata, you will be responsible for leading the presales team and collaborating with various departments to develop compelling proposals and solutions for our clients. You will play a pivotal role in understanding client requirements, shaping solutions, and ensuring seamless communication between the sales and delivery teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful presales management.


Role And Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with the sales team and partners to understand customer requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Conduct discovery calls, assess requirements, and gather technical inputs from customers to tailor appropriate solutions.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers and partners, both in-person and virtually.
  • Prepare documentation such as Solution Architecture, Technical Proposals, Solution Presentations, Scope of Work (SOW), defining solution USPs, Hardware Sizing (BOM), and software specifications.
  • Set up Proof of Concepts (PoCs) as per customer requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor products to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Assist the development team in understanding requirements and defining the scope/statement of work.
  • Engage in regular product training and continuously update knowledge of the company's offerings and associated technologies.
  • Improve product marketability by enhancing packaging, coordinating new product development, or integrating suitable third-party products/solutions.
  • Support the development of sales strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Collaborate with the product management (PMG) team to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads.



Skills and Qualifications:


  • Should have worked with NMS or ITSM solutions (such as SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, PRTG, Freshworks, ServiceNow, BMC, etc.).
  • Should have experience in designing solution documents and proposals for NMS tenders.
  • Should have basic knowledge of Networking, Server, Application, Cloud, SDN, and IoT technologies.
  • Should have excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written.
  • Should have deep level understanding of at least one core area of IT infrastructure.
  • Should have a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Should have the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Should be willing to travel as per business requirements.
