Job Requirements Role/ Job Title: Senior Marketing Technology Manager Function/ Department: HPE Job Purpose We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented professional to manage communication channel integrations and vendor partnerships, with a strong grasp of MarTech platforms. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in messaging channels like SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS, along with experience navigating regulatory frameworks such as RBI and TRAI. You will also lead cost optimization initiatives, ensure compliance during audits, and leverage marketing technology solutions to enhance communication effectiveness. Roles & Responsibilities Channel Expertise & Integration Drive the evaluation, integration, and optimization of communication channels including SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, email, and push notifications. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to implement new channels and features. Ensure seamless connectivity between messaging channels and MarTech platforms. Vendor Management & Negotiation Identify, assess, and onboard new channel partners and technology vendors. Lead price and contract negotiations to ensure value-driven partnerships. Monitor vendor SLAs, service performance, and adherence to regulatory standards. Regulatory Compliance & Audit Readiness Maintain thorough understanding of applicable RBI, TRAI, and data privacy regulations. Work with compliance and legal teams to implement and monitor best practices. Manage internal and external audits related to communication systems and data governance. MarTech Platforms At least 2+ years of experience on use of MarTech platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, MoEngage, WebEngage, Clevertap, etc.). Cost Optimization & Budget Management Track and analyse communication channel costs; recommend initiatives to reduce expenses and improve ROI. Prepare regular reports on spend, performance metrics, and vendor outcomes. Competitive Benchmarking & Market Intelligence Conduct regular competitive benchmarking and market analysis for communication platforms and pricing. Provide insights and recommendations for new channel/innovations or process improvements. Secondary Responsibilities Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Technology, or related field (MBA is a plus). Strong knowledge of messaging platforms (SMS, WhatsApp Business, RCS) and communication channel APIs. Familiarity with MarTech platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MoEngage, WebEngage, CleverTap, or similar. Deep understanding of RBI and TRAI guidelines governing digital communications. Proven ability to lead vendor negotiations, audits, and compliance activities. Strong project management, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
