Visit macmillaneducation.com and follow @MacmillanEducation / @MacmillanELT About The Role The Senior Manager, Marketing - Campaigns will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns designed to enhance engagement and retention among user schools for our Foundational Years programme and Emerging Technology learning solution. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to managing diverse campaigns across digital and potentially traditional channels. The Senior Manager will work closely with creative teams, sales teams, and external agencies to ensure campaigns are aligned with overall business objectives and deliver measurable results. Role Responsibilities: Campaign Development and Implementation: Develop comprehensive marketing campaign strategies for the Foundational Years WhatsApp community, focusing on providing valuable resources (videos, worksheets, teaching tips), engaging activities (quizzes, contests), and fostering a sense of community among teachers. Plan and execute hackathons for user schools of the Emerging Technology learning solution, specifically targeting the South and West regions. This includes all logistical arrangements, promotion, and engagement activities. Orchestrate webinar deployments of Microsoft Courses (21 CLD) to over 150 user schools, ensuring effective communication, registration, and participation. Conceptualize and implement a pan-India quizzing initiative to drive engagement and awareness. Ensure all campaigns align with overall retention objectives and contribute to strengthening relationships with user schools. Content Development Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams (internal or external) to develop compelling and relevant marketing content tailored to each campaign and target audience. This includes text, visuals, videos, and interactive elements. Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the value proposition of our programmes. Multi-Channel Campaign Execution: Execute marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including but not limited to WhatsApp, email marketing, social media platforms, webinars, and potentially traditional marketing methods. Manage and optimize campaign execution to ensure timely delivery and maximum impact. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives. Provide them with necessary resources and support for campaign follow-up. Liaise with external agencies (e.g., for event management, content creation) to ensure seamless execution and adherence to timelines and budget. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for each campaign and diligently monitor performance against these metrics. Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize ongoing campaigns and inform future strategies. Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular and comprehensive reports on campaign performance, including key metrics, insights, and recommendations, for stakeholders including senior leadership and sales teams. Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders regarding campaign progress, challenges, and results. Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during campaign execution to minimize disruption and ensure successful outcomes. Qualification : Graduation in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A postgraduate degree is a plus. Experience : 8-10 years of proven experience in product marketing or marketing Roles within the school/education sector. Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns. Experience in managing events (e.g., hackathons, webinars) is highly desirable. Skillsets required : Creativity: Ability to develop innovative and engaging campaign concepts and content. Online Marketing: Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Customer Understanding: Strong empathy for the needs and motivations of educators and school administrators. Data Handling: Proficiency in analyzing marketing data to derive insights and make data-driven decisions. Budget Awareness: Understanding of budget management principles and the importance of cost-effective campaign execution. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems (preferred).
