Role Overview:

The resource will lead the design, implementation and evaluation of large-scale social impact programmes. He will drive and maintain partnerships with government bodies, NGOs and stakeholders. The position requires strategic planning, strong project management and commendable monitoring and evaluation skills to deliver meaningful, measurable and sustainable community impact.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Programme Strategy & Design

● Lead the end-to-end design of CSR and social impact programmes aligned with client objectives, community needs, and Tarq’s strategic pillars.

● Translate concepts into actionable frameworks with defined goals, indicators, budgets, and implementation timelines.

● Develop innovative, scalable, and context-specific programme models under the

Strategy | Story | Solutions framework.

Implementation & Delivery Oversight

● Manage multiple on-ground projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to scope,

timelines, and quality benchmarks.

● Supervise field teams and implementing partners for effective roll-out and monitoring of interventions.

● Ensure documentation, reporting, and evaluation systems are robust and data-backed.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

● Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, NGOs, government departments, and community stakeholders.

● Support business development and proposal creation for new partnerships.

● Represent Tarq at client reviews, stakeholder meetings, and external forums.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)

● Establish programme KPIs and impact measurement frameworks in collaboration with the Research and Insights team.

● Regularly review progress and course-correct based on evidence and field feedback.

● Document case studies, success stories, and learnings to feed into organisational

knowledge systems.

Team Leadership & Capacity Building

● Mentor programme associates/managers and promote a collaborative, impact-driven work culture.

● Facilitate internal learning sessions, cross-project exposure, and team development plans.

● Contribute to institutional processes and policy improvement within Tarq.

Compliance & Reporting

● Ensure all programme operations comply with statutory, financial, and donor reporting standards.

● Review project budgets, fund utilisation, and partner reports in coordination with the Finance and Compliance teams.

● Prepare comprehensive progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Who You Are (Ideal Candidate Profile):

• A postgraduate in Public Policy, Sustainability, Development Studies, Business, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.
• 7-9 years of experience in CSR, social development, sustainability, or NGO programme management.
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and scaling CSR programmes across sectors (education, health, environment, livelihood, etc.)
• Expertise in monitoring, evaluation, assessments, and data-driven decision making.
• Strategic thinking, strong leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical, innovative, and effective problem solving skills.
• Highly organized and adaptable to work across multiple projects in diverse geographies.
