Senior Manager Procurement

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the role is to manage the Procurement and logistics of Packaging materials. This involves sourcing and purchasing packaging materials primarily Aluminium cans, cartons, labels etc.

End to end responsibility of Procure to Pay cycle.

· Negotiating contracts with suppliers for own and contract around 35 plants,

· Developing strategic partnership with vendors,

· Ensuring On Time In Full (OTIF) of materials

· Cost Saving Initiatives

· Identification and development of new vendors

· Payment of vendors

The position plays a crucial role in optimizing the procurement process, minimizing costs, and maximizing the overall operational efficiency of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Procurement management:

· In-depth understanding of market and commodity trends

· Hedging of commodity

· Frame the RFQ’s inline with a strategy to ensure supplies at the most competitive price.

· Ensure that the procurement policy is followed without deviation to get the best deal for the company.

· Follow the procurement policies to take the necessary approvals.

· Develop an end-to-end strategy during each auction process for the procurement of packaging material.

· Closely coordinate with the Global procurement team to ensure that the procurement decisions are closed in time.

· Effectively manage the vendors to ensure supplies at the contracted prices.
