We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to oversee a dynamic team of accountants and drive excellence across financial operations, reporting, and client relationship management. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, deep accounting expertise, and a proactive approach to process improvement and automation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of five accountants, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and fostering strong client relationships. This role also involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders, including CFOs, to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 5 accountants to ensure high performance and achievement of individual and collective goals.
Set clear KPIs for the team, aligned with business objectives, including deliverables accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction metrics.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
Ensure continuous improvement of employee engagement and retention through training and development initiatives.
Prepare and maintain the Group Balance Sheet, ensuring accuracy across all entities.
Perform Intercompany Matrix Reconciliation to ensure consistency in intercompany transactions.
Manage UTR Reporting, including tracking and linking UTRs to corresponding invoices and ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
Update and maintain loan schedules, ensuring all entries are current and reconciled.
Collaborate with the clients CFO to assess and manage funding requirements, ensuring timely availability of financial resources.
Monitor and manage the organizations debt structure, including tracking loan maturities, interest rates, repayment terms, and covenant compliance.
Assist in the analysis of debt servicing capacity, refinancing opportunities, and cost of capital to support strategic financial planning.
Preparation of Corporate accounts
Consolidation of accounts for corporate groups
Ensure reports are aligned with client expectations and business requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing escalations and ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.
Lead regular governance calls with clients to review deliverables, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
Drive collaboration with clients to identify and implement necessary changes in processes based on evolving business needs.
Proactively gather
Ensure full compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by monitoring performance metrics and reporting deviations.
Prepare monthly SLA reports for both internal and client review, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Lead recruitment efforts for new hires, ensuring selection of high-caliber talent to strengthen the team.
Manage smooth onboarding of new employees, ensuring they are trained on processes and sign off on training milestones.
Maintain and enhance the teams skill set through continuous learning initiatives, ensuring ongoing competency in accounting processes and tools.
Ensure all processes are documented thoroughly and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all operational activities.
Regularly review and update process documentation to reflect changes, ensuring clarity and adherence across the team.
Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements, increasing efficiency and reducing manual interventions.
Lead automation projects to streamline workflows, leveraging technology to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to implement new tools, technologies, or methodologies for process optimization.
Identify areas of risk within the process and deploy additional controls as required to ensure operational stability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements by establishing a robust internal control framework.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and make necessary adjustments.
