Translate the relevant civil project milestones into daily schedule of the civil project and plan for resources and manpower requirement for the work Provide inputs to the Sales & Marketing team during proposal making stage regarding feasibility analysis, civil drawings, project costing, technical and material specifications for civil structures, etc. Conduct site visits in evaluating the feasibility of construction on the proposed site Coordinate with site execution team on driving progress of civil projects as per stipulated timelines; highlight any delays in a timely manner Ensure adherence to standard procedures and practices for execution of Civil Projects in terms of project planning, staffing, monitoring and closure; ensure effective implementation of the same across all projects Work closely with Sourcing & Vendor Development team to ensure contracts / work orders are finalized in time-bound manner. Ensure regular inspection of construction materials to ensure conformity to quality standards Ensure compliances with respect to Safety at various construction sites and highlight any discrepancies Lead any civil site modifications after sign-off on drawings Support Lead- Purchase in empanelment and review of performance of vendors/contractors/service providers for any outsourced work and obtain approval for the same Scrutinize invoices raised by contractors / vendors, and suggest changes, if any to the invoices before releasing payments to the vendors Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements with respect to all civil vendors / contractors and their staff Generating invoices for Civil activities, collection of payments and maintenance of data records for the same preparation of bills on joint measurement basis and stage wise completion, follow up for payment from client, preparation of reports for fortnightly and monthly meetings at Site, etc. Liaisoning with government officials and authorities periodically to secure requisite approvals and licenses Preparation of monthly MIS / financial statements to determine progress and status of the projects Keep abreast of markets and competition within the respect to best practices in civil projects execution
