Engineer Blown

• Responsible for supervising all production activities in the assigned section to ensure production as per planned schedule and to address any issues in a timely manner
• Assist Lead- Manufacturing in formulation of periodic production schedule
• Undertake work allocation to different teams as per the production targets of shifts and shift planning
• Monitor completion of periodic production targets adhering to defined standards of cost, quality and time
• Responsible for stage wise and end of Line Inspection and highlighting any deviation from accepted quality standards to Lead- Manufacturing
• Issue consumables, spares and other inventory required in SAP as per the production plan
• Raise material requisition note for plant operations in his/her own section and coordinate with Inventory Management, Stores and Logistics department to ensure availability of the same
• Coordinate with Support- Maintenance to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out as per stipulated SOPs and in adherence to maintenance schedule
• Coordinate with the Inventory, Stores & Logistics team for transportation of finished items
• Coordinate with the R&D department and Manufacturing Engineering for any BOM/drawing related issues
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to safety standards by all employees in the section
• Monitor adherence to the production process to achieve throughput yield and desired quality of products
• Identify any technical issues or resource shortages in the operations of the assigned section and take corrective action; highlight any discrepancies to Lead- Manufacturing
• Ensure adherence to the departmental budget, and highlight any discrepancies to Lead- Manufacturing
• Responsible for optimal resource utilization and streamlining of activities within the section
• Maintain documentation of all production activities, including attendance of manpower, overtime, material consumption, inventory withdrawals, maintenance failures, etc.
• Identify & implement action steps to reduce losses and wastages during shift operation and ensure minimum rejection of components
• Prepare daily and monthly production MIS reports to match actual performance vis--vis the targets and report the same to Lead Manufacturing
• Monitor and analyse operational data related to production, operation of plant & machinery to identify pain and priority areas of the production process and present findings to Lead- Manufacturing
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to bring about efficiency improvements by identifying production bottlenecks and ensuring elimination of the same
