Responsibilities Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment Weigh resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to formulae Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced Place weighed materials in mixing machines Unload mixture into a container or conveyor for further processing Set up and operate calendar machines to transform plastic bales or slabs into continuous sheets or films of specified thickness Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or die Change dies on extruding machines according to production line change Prepare and change molds and adjust equipment for production line change Safely operate a three-layer and/or mono-layer blown film extrusion system Make extruder adjustments according to already established working methods to maximize productivity Make order changes Ensure the quality of the finished product while following all health and safety rules Perform continuous quality checks throughout production runs Follow a 'clean as you go' policy, keeping all areas tidy on site to ensure compliance with BRC food safety standards Monitor machine performance, maintain output, quality, and waste targets while keeping downtime to a minimum Must have single-handedly operated machines, specifically mono-layer and 3-layer blown film extrusion machines Preferred: Worked on W&H 3-layer and 5-layer blown film lines (Optimex, Varex) Worked on Reifenhauser single/monolayer or triple-layer blown film line Requirements Requirements: Education : Completion of secondary school is required. Diploma in plastics technology is a strong asset. Experience : At least 7 years of experience in the blown extrusion industry or co-extrusion is required. Important Information: Flexibility in schedule is required. Rotating continental 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM OR from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During the first 6-week period, the worker will work an average of 42 hours per week. Role & responsibilities To handle the machine individually and take care of the all process requirements (Corona treatment, chiller, dryer). • To optimize the product as per the customer needs Thickness, width, % of elongation. • To guide the team to mix the material as per approved ratios. • To maintain the machine without any major breakdowns and do preventive maintenance as per plan. • To train and develop new team for operating the machine. • To plan for material requirements on monthly basis as per planned production. • To meet daily and monthly production targets. • No. of hours machine breakdown due to electrical / mechanical issues. • No. of customer complaints reported on product quality from customers. • No. of employees trained in blown film operation. • To handle flexo printing / bagging machine to get maximum output Preferred candidate profile 10th / Intermediate • Any degree • Hands on experience in blown film operation, capacity to handle the machine individually and optimize the product as per customer needs.
