Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager Fleet Vendor Scaling to drive the growth and expansion of our fleet vendor network. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise to onboard, manage, and optimize vendor partnerships, ensuring smooth supply chain and logistics operations. A key part of this role will also involve conducting community engagement programs in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities to convert drivers into fleet owners and move them to high demand locations and coordinating with government agencies for hiring blue-collar drivers. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Acquisition & Onboarding: Identify, evaluate, and onboard fleet vendors to support business expansion and operational efficiency. Scaling & Network Expansion: Develop strategies to scale vendor partnerships across multiple regions, ensuring adequate fleet availability. Community Engagement: Organize and lead community meetups in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities to educate and encourage drivers to transition into fleet ownership. Government Coordination: Work closely with government agencies and employment programs to source and hire blue-collar drivers efficiently. Performance Management: Track vendor performance metrics (SLAs, compliance, cost efficiency) and implementprovement initiatives. Process Optimization: Streamline vendor onboarding, contract management, and operational workflows to reduce inefficiencies. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all fleet vendors adhere to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Compliance) to align vendor strategies with business goals. Technology & Automation: Leverage digital tools and data analytics to enhance vendor management and fleet utilization. Cost Control & Negotiation: Optimize vendor contracts and pricing structures to drive cost efficiencies without compromising service quality. Key Requirements: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. years of experience in fleet vendor management, supply chain, logistics, or a similar domain. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Experience in contract negotiation and vendor relationship management. Ability to engage with communities and convert drivers into fleet owners. In-depth knowledge of working with government agencies and employment schemes for hiring blue-collar drivers Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in fleet management systems and data analytics tools is a plus If worked in a startup for scaling things from zero to X,
