Position Overview


The Senior Manager – Events will drive the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation ofhigh-impact industry events for client. This role requires a dynamic leader with expertise inevent management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliverexceptional experiences aligned with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities


Event Strategy & Planning


  • Define event objectives, themes, and target audiences through research andalignment with client's business goals.
  • Devise data-informed content and marketing strategies to maximizeattendance and event ROI.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, vendor contracts, andcomprehensive risk management plans
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Coordinate with vendors (venues, AV, catering, registration systems) tosecure optimal terms and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Onboard and manage speakers—including C-level leadership—overseeingoutreach, briefing, and alignment with event themes.
  • Event Execution
  • Oversee all pre-event logistics, including registration, marketing, and setup.
  • Post-Event Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Conduct post-event debriefs with attendees, speakers, and sponsors toevaluate event success and gather actionable feedback.
  • Memberships
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract new members and retain existingones, aligned with Client's strategic goals.
  • Oversee the full membership lifecycle, from initial inquiry and onboarding torenewals and engagement.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, BusinessAdministration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in event management, preferably within industryassociations or B2B environments.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing large-scale conferences, roundtables,or industry events.
  • Strong vendor negotiation, budget management, and project management skills.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and high-profile stakeholders.
