Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process: Facilitate and drive the monthly S&OP cycle to align demand forecasts with supply plans, financial targets, and business strategies.
• Develop and refine forecasting models: Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning models to generate accurate demand forecasts, incorporating market trends, promotional activities, and new product launches.
• Inventory management: Oversee inventory levels across all channels (e-commerce, retail, and modern trade) to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory, while optimizing working capital.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to gather market intelligence and ensure alignment on demand plans.
• Team leadership: Mentor, train, and manage a team of demand planners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and analytical excellence.
• Performance reporting: Develop and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports on forecast accuracy, inventory health, and demand trends to senior leadership.
• Market analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to enhance forecasting accuracy and identify growth opportunities.

Skills & Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in similar field
• Proficiency in advanced statistical forecasting techniques and software (e.g., SAP APO, Anaplan, Fountain9, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• High proficiency in MS Excel and data visualization tools.
