Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Legal Associate / Legal Counsel to join our growing team in Bangalore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with leadership, handle complex client projects, and advise on international corporate and commercial law with a focus on the GCC market.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in corporate law, compliance, and contract drafting, with the ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory on corporate structuring, company formation, and compliance matters across GCC jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including incorporation forms, board resolutions, contracts, and service agreements.
• Ensure client onboarding processes comply with local laws and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on regulatory developments impacting corporate clients in the GCC
• Oversee the maintenance of corporate records, statutory filings, and governance documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve legal and compliance issues.
• Mentor junior team members and interns, providing guidance on legal research and drafting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent degree; a Master’s or specialization in Corporate/Commercial Law is a plus.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm with exposure to international/cross-border matters.
• Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law, compliance frameworks, and regulatory practices.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and research skills.
• Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects in a fast-paced environment.
