Senior Java Developer

Role: Java Developer Location: Bangalore Experience: 4-8 years Skills: Java8,Springboot,Kafka Note: ***Only Immediate joiners can apply. Also 2nd round will be on F2F*** Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable enterprise applications using Java technologies. This role involves deep technical expertise in micro services, API development, system design, and hands-on implementation of event-driven architectures. Candidates with prior experience in the banking domain will be given preference. Key Responsibilities: 1. Application Development & Design ·Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with high scalability and performance. ·Use Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security) to build robust backend systems. ·Build and maintain Restful APIs that are secure and efficient. ·Ensure solutions are aligned with architecture standards and best practices. 2. Database Management ·Work with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS for data modelling, writing complex queries, indexing, and performance optimization. ·Design efficient schemas and manage data integrity across micro services. 3. Event-Driven & Domain-Driven Design ·Implement Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles in software architecture. ·Build and support event-driven systems using Apache Kafka or similar messaging tools (preferred but not mandatory). ·Participate in designing systems with event-first approaches, ensuring loose coupling and high availability. 4. DevOps & CI/CD ·Use CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Chef, SonarQube, Checkmarks, and Maven to automate build, test, and deployment processes. ·Maintain and improve code quality, security scanning, and static analysis pipelines. Mandatory Skills: ·Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ ·Deep understanding of Spring Boot / Micro services Architecture ·Proficient in working with Relational Databases (preferably PostgreSQL) ·Understanding of software development lifecycle, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies ·Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging systems ·At least one or two projects in the Banking or Financial domain (preferred) Good to Have ·Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes ·Familiarity with static code analysis and security tools (SonarQube, Checkmarks) ·Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage Soft Skills: ·Strong problem-solving and analytical skills ·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ·Ability to work independently as well as part of a team ·Leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring others Notice period: Immediate to 15 days Email to: poniswarya.m@aptita.com Show more Show less
