Position Overview

NEMA Development is entering its next phase of growth — from a boutique design studio to a structured design-and-build company delivering high-end villas, penthouses, and bespoke interiors.

Design Partner / Creative Director

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

1. Design Direction & Creative Leadership (30%)

  • Define, refine, and uphold NEMA’s core design philosophy across all projects.
  • Lead concept development — architecture, interior design, spatial planning, and parametric elements.
  • Review and approve final renders, design boards, and client presentations.
  • Introduce new materials, technologies, and creative techniques to elevate the brand’s design vocabulary.

2. Project & Design Management (25%)

  • Supervise end-to-end design delivery — from concept to construction drawings.
  • Coordinate between design, procurement, and execution teams to maintain quality and intent.
  • Ensure timely submission of drawings, GFCs, and BOQs aligned with project timelines.
  • Lead weekly design coordination meetings and track project design progress.

3. Team Development & Mentorship (20%)

  • Build and guide a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, and 3D visualizers.
  • Implement structured design review systems, KRA tracking, and performance metrics.
  • Foster a studio culture rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and accountability.

4. Client & Brand Representation (15%)

  • Present design concepts and narratives to clients with clarity and conviction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams for storytelling and brand positioning.
  • Represent NEMA at industry events, awards, and media platforms.

5. Innovation & R&D (10%)

  • Drive experimentation with parametric tools, computational workflows, and fabrication techniques.
  • Develop a “NEMA Design Innovation Cell” to research materials, furniture systems, and sustainable practices.
  • Collaborate with global designers, artisans, and institutes for knowledge exchange.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely completion of all design stages with 100% deliverable accuracy.
  • 90%+ client satisfaction on design quality and experience.
  • Improved design team productivity and retention rate.
  • Introduction of at least 2 new design innovations or material applications per quarter.
  • Positive brand visibility through awards, media features, and online storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s in Architecture / Interior Design from a reputed institution (AA London, CEPT, SPA, etc.).
  • 10–15 years of experience in luxury residential or high-end architectural design.
  • Strong portfolio of built work showcasing creativity, functionality, and detailing.
  • Proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, and visualization tools.
  • Leadership presence, storytelling ability, and a growth-oriented mindset.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience and leadership potential.
