We are now looking to expand our core design team with a Senior Interior Designer / Design Manager who can translate luxury briefs into reality and work alongside our Co-Founder and Design Head. Key Responsibilities Lead design development for luxury residences from concept to execution. Translate client briefs into layouts, mood boards, 3D visuals, and detailed working drawings . Manage end-to-end design documentation (BOQs, GFC drawings, material specs). Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure flawless execution. Attend client meetings, present design concepts, and address design clarifications. Supervise and mentor junior designers, ensuring adherence to Nema standards. Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and resolve design deviations. Collaborate directly with leadership on high-profile projects. Requirements Bachelor’s/Master’s in Architecture or Interior Design from a reputed institute. 5–8 years of experience in luxury residential interiors. Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end residences / villas / penthouses . Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/3DS Max, Photoshop, and MS Office. Strong eye for detailing, materiality, and luxury finishes. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and presentation skills. As an Interior Quantity Surveyor, your primary role is to manage the costs associated with interior design projects. You will be responsible for estimating costs, conducting quantity take-offs, assisting with tendering and procurement, monitoring project costs, managing contracts, providing value engineering solutions, closing out projects, and collaborating with various stakeholders. - Prepare detailed cost estimates based on interior design concepts, layouts, and specifications. - Develop and manage project budgets for materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and labor. - Update cost plans through design development stages (Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design). - Conduct precise quantity take-offs for interior elements such as flooring, partitions, ceilings, millwork, custom furniture, loose furniture, wall finishes, lighting, and MEP services. - Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings and specifications. - Draft tender documents for suppliers, contractors, and vendors. - Assist in evaluating bids and negotiating with contractors and vendors. - Recommend cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising design intent. - Track and monitor project costs against the budget throughout the project lifecycle. - Issue cost reports at regular intervals to identify variances and suggest corrective actions. - Handle change management by evaluating the cost implications of design changes, variation orders, and scope adjustments. - Assist with drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts for interior works. - Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and monitor claims or disputes. - Proactively identify cost-saving alternatives for materials, methods, and construction techniques. - Provide value engineering proposals without compromising on aesthetics, quality, or performance. - Prepare final accounts and ensure all financial matters are settled at project completion. - Audit final costs against budgets and report on cost savings or overruns. - Work closely with interior designers, architects, project managers, and clients to align design vision with budget realities. - Attend site meetings and design review sessions to provide cost advice. - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. - Proven experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and quantity surveying within the interior design industry. - Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procurement processes. - Proficiency in quantity take-off software and MS Excel. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB) would be a plus.,
Position Overview NEMA Development is entering its next phase of growth — from a boutique design studio to a structured design-and-build company delivering high-end villas, penthouses, and bespoke interiors. We are seeking a Design Partner / Creative Director to lead the design vision, mentor creative teams, and ensure the NEMA aesthetic evolves while staying deeply rooted in parametric elegance and timeless craftsmanship. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) 1. Design Direction & Creative Leadership (30%) Define, refine, and uphold NEMA’s core design philosophy across all projects. Lead concept development — architecture, interior design, spatial planning, and parametric elements. Review and approve final renders, design boards, and client presentations. Introduce new materials, technologies, and creative techniques to elevate the brand’s design vocabulary. 2. Project & Design Management (25%) Supervise end-to-end design delivery — from concept to construction drawings. Coordinate between design, procurement, and execution teams to maintain quality and intent. Ensure timely submission of drawings, GFCs, and BOQs aligned with project timelines. Lead weekly design coordination meetings and track project design progress. 3. Team Development & Mentorship (20%) Build and guide a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, and 3D visualizers. Implement structured design review systems, KRA tracking, and performance metrics. Foster a studio culture rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and accountability. 4. Client & Brand Representation (15%) Present design concepts and narratives to clients with clarity and conviction. Collaborate with marketing and business development teams for storytelling and brand positioning. Represent NEMA at industry events, awards, and media platforms. 5. Innovation & R&D (10%) Drive experimentation with parametric tools, computational workflows, and fabrication techniques. Develop a “NEMA Design Innovation Cell” to research materials, furniture systems, and sustainable practices. Collaborate with global designers, artisans, and institutes for knowledge exchange.
