Senior Instructional Designer

Drives instructional design strategy across projects, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles and mentoring junior IDs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct training needs analysis using stakeholder interviews and task analysis.

Lead high-level curriculum design and scoping with stakeholders.

Review and approve instructional blueprints and storyboards.

Ensure instructional alignment across blended learning formats (ILT, vILT, eLearning).

Introduce innovative instructional techniques such as gamification, simulations, and microlearning.

Train and mentor junior IDs, ensuring adherence to standards.

Collaborate closely with QA and Courseware Developers on execution and feedback integration.

Write learning objectives using Blooms Taxonomy.

Design storyboards/scripts for ILT, vILT, and eLearning.

Collaborate with SMEs, courseware developers, and graphic designers.

Create assessment strategies (formative and summative).

Track content through design reviews and revision cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or related field.

Mastery of instructional models (ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning)

Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, and Vyond.

Strong understanding of SCORM, xAPI, and LMS platforms.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent writing, research, and learner engagement strategies
