Job Description

As a Senior Instructional Designer at our company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing learning experiences by creating innovative assets and engaging activities. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing client inputs and developing project-specific questionnaires. - Visualizing and conceptualizing the final product according to approved learning solutions. - Designing high-level and low-level designs based on adult learning principles. - Creating game-based and simulation-based learning experiences. - Developing engaging microlearning and mobile learning solutions. - Defining project-specific standards and instructional design guidelines. - Crafting storyboards for different learning levels - Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. - Reviewing storyboards for instructional quality, writing style, and interactive elements. - Conducting reviews of Alpha and Beta versions of learning assets. - Collaborating effectively with clients and internal project teams. - Providing guidance and support to team members and mentoring junior instructional designers. - Continuously updating skills and competencies in instructional design and related domains. - Documenting and sharing the learning development approach of projects with cross-functional teams. Qualifications: Minimum: - Bachelor's degree in any field. - 4+ years of experience in instructional designing, preferably in corporate or higher-education sectors. - Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct content. - Knowledge of adult learning theory and its application in learning solutions. - Exposure to various learning assets in a blended learning program. - Familiarity with instructional design theories and models. - Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a team environment. - Ability to manage multiple development projects and deadlines effectively. Preferred: - Experience in designing high-end learning products like business simulations, games, and videos. - Experience in curriculum and program design. - Proficiency in software such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Studio, Adobe e-Learning Suite Programs, MS Office, Camtasia, Storyline, and Snagit.
