About The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Infrastructure & Site Reliability (SR) Engineer
to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of our infrastructure—from architecture and deployment to day-to-day operations—ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance across our platforms.This role is ideal for a hands-on, automation-driven engineer who is comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-availability environments and working across cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Engage in and continuously improve the full lifecycle of services—from design and development to deployment, operations, and optimization.
- Design, build, and operate scalable and reliable infrastructure platforms aligned with business and engineering requirements.
- Automate routine and error-prone operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Support services before launch (readiness reviews, reliability assessments) and after launch (monitoring, tuning, and continuous improvements).
- Scale systems sustainably through automation, improving system reliability and engineering velocity.
- Leverage public cloud services (AWS / OCI and others) to accelerate time-to-market.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, effective incident response, and blameless postmortems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during incidents as required.
- Support delivery of APIs and data for dashboards, alerting systems, health checks, mobile applications, and third-party integrations.
What You Bring
Core Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming and scripting skills (Python or Go preferred).
- Excellent English communication skills.
Technical Competencies
- Strong expertise in Linux (Ubuntu).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Solid experience managing PostgreSQL databases.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Strong knowledge of Git and Git-based workflows.
- Production-level experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on system optimization and automation.
Additional Technical Skills (Plus)
- Experience with VoIP technologies such as FreeSwitch, Asterisk, or Kamailio.
- Exposure to multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Oracle Cloud, Huawei Cloud).
- Experience with serverless and data/event-driven systems (Lambda, SNS, SQS, Firehose, Redshift).
- Building and maintaining Grafana dashboards.
- Experience in hybrid or on-prem environments, including KVM virtualization and Cisco networking hardware.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN / WAN).
- Experience supporting APIs and data pipelines for dashboards, alerting, and health monitoring systems.
Bonus Skills (Nice To Have)
- Experience with Xen Orchestra or XCP-ng virtualization stacks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructures.
- Familiarity with zero-downtime deployments and GitOps workflows.
- Experience supporting high-availability VoIP infrastructure at scale.
