Objective of the Job:

To ensure seamless operation, maintenance, and security of the organization's IT systems, networks, hardware, and software, providing timely support and technical expertise to meet business needs effectively.


Scope:

Responsible for the complete administration of IT infrastructure, including network management, server configuration, cybersecurity, data backup, user support, and IT asset management across all departments.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor all installed systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, hardware, and enterprise applications.
  • Ensure the highest levels of system, data, and network availability.
  • Maintain and implement security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions in Active Directory.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues promptly.
  • Perform regular system audits, patch management, and security updates.
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventories, licensing, and documentation.
  • Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for IT procurement, AMC, and technical support.
  • Enforce IT policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Support implementation of new technologies and IT automation initiatives.


Essential Educational & Experience Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications / Information Technology / Computer Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience

    in IT administration, system/network management, or related technical support roles.


Necessary Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management and cybersecurity practices.
  • Expertise in Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure).
  • Troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and root cause analysis.
