REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, Human Resources, T&HS and Operations, APAC
DIRECT REPORTS: 2

The Senior HR Manager will ensure smooth HR operations for all managers and employees as well confidentiality and punctuality regarding all HR processes and policies for our Mumbai & Gurgaon offices and two plants in Ahmedabad and Nashik. This position plays a key role in providing both operational and strategic human resources support to develop and coordinate programs which directly support the achievement of business objectives in collaboration with the HR COE teams, to deliver excellent employee experience and HR impact for all employees based in India.
What you will do:
  • Business Partnering - Partner and consult India business leadership team about HR matters, provide effective advice and coaching to key stakeholders.
  • Strategic workforce planning - Partner and consult India business leadership team about strategic workforce planning for mergers and acquisitions, building new green field/brown field capital projects and/or organization design/restructuring to build agile organization.
  • Performance Management - Driving performance culture for all levels and provide consultation to management team to enhance employee performance to deliver business goals
  • Talent Management - Facilitate People & Capabilities Review to build organization capabilities/ effectiveness for business growth and enhance talent bench strengths and pipeline for business growth for all functions in India
  • Learning & Development - Work with global COE to deliver learning & development solutions to enhance individual and organization capabilities and leadership development
  • Employee Engagement - Strengthen employee engagement via employee relation programs and establish positive relationships with community and local government bodies via CSR and external relation programs.
  • Policy Implementation - Identify HR strategies that are aligned with the country HR direction, identify areas for continuous improvement and take initiatives to enhance the organization, people capability and wellbeing and working environment.
  • Talent Acquisition - Collaborating with Talent Acquisition team members on implementing innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies. Participate in the recruitment process and provide advice and recommendations around appointment and promotion decisions.
  • Total Rewards - Responsible for recommending, implementing, and communicating Compensation & Benefits policies and processes. Ensure effective annual salary review and bonus plan implementation. Determine appropriate salary scales for newcomers and able to provide daily consultancy to managers and staff on the C&B policies and regulation.
  • HRIS and Reporting - Maintain human resource information systems records ensuring data accuracy and compiles reports from the database. Responsible for delivering HR reporting analytics (staffing, absenteeism, overtime etc.).
Qualified candidates will have:
  • Bachelor s Degree, preferable in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • At least 10 years of working experience, preferably in a multinational companies.
  • HR Business Partnering experience in both trading office and manufacturing environment is critical.
  • HR Experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or capital investments i.e. green field/brown field projects preferable.
  • Team management experience, proactive, creative, able to multi-task and work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strategic influencing senior stakeholders in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrate consulting agility to build leadership, team and individual capability while modeling and implementing talent practices and processes
  • Versatile and competent in current Human Resource practices and policies experience.
  • Broad awareness of Employment Law and implication, able to manage complex IR/ER issues.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal).
