Role Overview

Razorpay

Key Responsibilities

1. Attendance & Leave Management

  • Track and monitor daily attendance through Biometric / TrackOn.
  • Validate leave entries, permissions, and LOP deductions.
  • Follow up with Team Leaders for missing or incorrect attendance entries.
  • Prepare monthly attendance sheets for Payroll processing.
  • Maintain attendance discipline across HO, Chennai, and field teams.

2. Payroll Processing (Razorpay)

  • Prepare and upload monthly attendance, additions, deductions, and LOP reports into Razorpay.
  • Assist in validating salary computations, overtime, allowances, and statutory deductions.
  • Process full & final settlements after exit clearance.
  • Coordinate with Finance for timely payroll closure.
  • Assist employees with salary-related queries.

3. IR Filing Support (Telecom – Jio/Client Compliance)

  • Prepare IR (Incident Report) data for telecom clients (e.g., Jio).
  • Coordinate with Operations to gather necessary documents and evidence.
  • Ensure timely submission of IR files and supporting documents to clients.
  • Track IR progress, missing information, and submission deadlines.
  • Maintain client-specific compliance folders and trackers.

4. HRMS & Employee Database Management

  • Maintain accurate employee records (joiners, exits, transfers).
  • Update HRMS and internal trackers daily.
  • Ensure complete documentation for PF, ESI, bank, Aadhar, and KYC.
  • Prepare employee master sheets for HR audits.

5. Onboarding & Induction

  • Collect documents and complete pre-joining formalities.
  • Conduct Day-1 induction and ensure policy communication.
  • Coordinate asset handover with IT and Admin.
  • Maintain onboarding checklist and file employee documents.

6. Employee Relations Support

  • Assist employees with queries related to salary, PF, ESI, attendance, and leave.
  • Maintain confidentiality and escalate sensitive issues to the HR Head.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, code of conduct, and dress code.

7. Compliance & Documentation

  • Support PF and ESI monthly filings by preparing accurate data.
  • Maintain statutory records and ensure policy adherence.
  • Prepare documents required for audits (internal/external).
  • Maintain physical and digital employee files.

8. HR Engagement & Communication

  • Coordinate monthly birthday celebrations and HR engagement activities.
  • Post required updates on Slack and circulate internal communications.
  • Assist HR Head in conducting R&R, festival events, and awareness sessions.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations
  • Hands-on experience with

    Razorpay Payroll

    (mandatory)
  • Understanding of

    IR Filing for Telecom Clients

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work with field teams and multi-location teams
  • Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree / MBA in HR preferred
  • 1–3 years of HR Operations experience

  • Experience with

    Razorpay Payroll

    is mandatory
  • Experience in

    IR filing / telecom operations support

    is preferred
