Job Description

Position Title: Store Manager
Department: Operations / Supply Chain / StoresLocation: HYDERABADReporting To: Operations Head / Project Manager


1. Role ObjectiveThe Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all store operations including inventorymanagement, material receipts & issues, stock control, vendor coordination, and compliance with company policies. The role ensures smooth functioning of telecom/infra-related materialsupply, timely issuance to project teams, and accuracy in reporting.


2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Inventory & Store Management•Maintain proper receipt, storage, and issuance of telecom/infra project materials (fibercables, equipment, tools, consumables, etc.).


•Monitor stock levels and prepare requisitions to avoid shortages or overstocking.•Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper handling of sensitive equipment.•Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile with ERP/physical records.


B. Documentation & Systems•Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), MRN (Material Requisition Notes), issue slips, and stock registers.•Update inventory in ERP/Store Management system on real-time basis.•Prepare MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review.


C. Vendor & Logistics Coordination•Coordinate with vendors and procurement team for timely material delivery.•Ensure proper inspection, verification, and acceptance of goods.•Arrange safe and cost-effective transportation/storage of materials.


D. Compliance & Safety•Ensure store operations comply with companys policies, telecom industry standards, and statutory requirements.

•Implement safety protocols for handling, storage, and disposal of materials.
•Conduct periodic training of store staff on safety and SOPs.


E. Team & Stakeholder Management•Supervise storekeepers, helpers, and supporting staff.•Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and finance team for material requirements.•Build accountability and efficiency in store operations.


3. Key Skills & Competencies•Strong knowledge of storekeeping, stock control, and ERP/Inventory systems.•Familiarity with telecom/infra materials (fiber, cables, ducts, OFC accessories, network equipment).•Good analytical and reporting skills (MS Excel/ERP).•Vendor management and coordination skills.•Leadership and team management abilities.•Strong integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving approach.


4. Qualifications & Experience•Graduate in Commerce / Supply Chain / Logistics / Engineering preferred.•58 years of experience in store management, preferably in telecom, infrastructure, or EPC sectors.•Certification in materials management / logistics will be an added

advantage.


5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)•Accuracy of inventory records (ERP vs physical).•On-time material availability to projects/sites.•Reduction in material losses, damages, and pilferages.•Cost efficiency in storage and logistics.•Compliance with safety and audit requirements
