Job Title: Senior Functional Consultant – Project Management Modules

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Project

Management modules within ERP or enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate

should have experience leading implementations, gathering business requirements,

and delivering scalable solutions in project-driven industries like manufacturing,

engineering, construction, or IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead end-to-end functional implementation of Project Management modules

in ERP systems (SAP PS, Oracle Projects, Microsoft Dynamics PSA, etc.).

 Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business

requirements related to project planning, budgeting, scheduling, costing, and

resource allocation.

 Map client business processes and identify areas for improvement and

automation.

 Configure ERP modules to match business requirements, conduct fit-gap

analysis, and support custom developments.

 Prepare functional documentation, user manuals, and training materials.

 Conduct user training, UAT sessions, and ensure successful project go-lives.

 Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and cross-functional

teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables.

 Provide post-implementation support and enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 8–12 years of experience as a functional consultant with specialization in

Project Management modules.

 Hands-on experience in implementing and supporting one or more of the

following:

o SAP PS (Project Systems)

o Oracle Projects (EBS/Cloud)

o Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations

o Primavera, Infor, or similar project-focused ERP tools

 Strong understanding of project costing, WBS, budget control, progress

tracking, and time-sheet integration.

 Experience in project-based industries such as manufacturing, EPC, or

professional services.

 Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

 ERP certifications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) related to project

modules.

 Exposure to project accounting, revenue recognition, and compliance.

 Experience working in agile or hybrid project environments.

 Knowledge of Indian taxation, compliance, and reporting for project-based

contracts.
