Senior Full Stack Engineer/Associate Director, Data and Analytics

In This Role You Will

• Assess stack, identify technical debt, create remediation roadmap
• Define modular API/service architecture and versioning
• Implement React/TypeScript components (performance, accessibility)
• Build backend services (Node.js Express/Nest, Python FastAPI/Flask)
• Optimize performance (bundling, caching, async, query tuning)
• Enforce secure service account lifecycle (least privilege, rotation, audit)
• Maintain Jenkins pipelines (quality gates, artifact promotion)
• Integrate secrets management (vault) and secure config
• Apply security controls (validation, headers, rate limiting, dependency scans)
• Embed observability (logs, metrics, traces, error budgets)
• Maintain automated testing pyramid (unit, integration, contract, e2e)
• Manage release strategies (blue/green, canary, rollback)
• Maintain technical debt register; drive refactoring sprints
• Manage dependency updates and deprecations (SBOM, supply chain)
• Author design docs/ADRs; run design/code reviews
• Coordinate cross‑team dependencies and priorities
• Mentor engineers on architecture and best practices
• Align backlog with Product, Security, Platform, Finance
  

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• React, TypeScript, component architecture, performance tuning
• Node.js (Express/Nest) and Python (FastAPI/Flask, asyncio)
• Jenkins pipeline scripting (declarative/scripted)
• Service account security (IAM/RBAC, credential rotation)
• REST API design (JSON schema, versioning, OAuth2/JWT)
• MongoDB & SQL (indexing, schema evolution, query optimization)
• Redis caching and state/session handling
• Docker containerization and image hardening
• Observability (structured logging, metrics, tracing)
• Automated testing (Jest, Pytest, contract/e2e)
• Security (OWASP, secrets management, SCA/SAST)
• Performance profiling and optimization
