Kalya Exports is a 30+ year-old family-run fresh fruit export company based in Nashik, India. Specializing in the export of TABLE GRAPES and POMEGRANATE, we work with 700 Global GAP certified farmers in India and hold certifications including BRC, Global GAP, GRASP, and SMETA. Our main product is Table Grapes, and we ship around 500 containers every year to international markets.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Executive Quality Assurance at Kalya Exports. The role involves overseeing the quality assurance processes for our fruit exports, managing inspections, ensuring compliance with certifications, and working closely with farmers and packhouses. This role is based in Nashik, India, with some flexibility for remote work.

• ✅ Quality Assurance & Control:

• Ensure adherence to international quality standards (EU, UK, Middle East, etc.)
• Conduct pre-harvest and post-harvest inspections
• Supervise packhouse operations and cold chain logistics
• Implement SOPs for grape handling, sorting, and packaging

• 📋 Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain traceability records and audit documentation
• Coordinate with certification bodies (Global G.A.P., GRASP, BRC, etc.)
• Monitor pesticide residue levels and MRL compliance

• 🔍 Inspection & Reporting:

• Conduct farm-level inspections and supplier audits
• Prepare detailed quality reports and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with export and logistics teams for shipment quality assurance

• 💻 ERP & Digital Tools:

• Utilize ERP systems for quality tracking, inventory, and reporting
• Ensure accurate data entry and real-time updates in ERP modules
• Generate reports and analytics to support decision-making

• 🤝 Team Coordination:

• Train and supervise field staff and packhouse workers
• Work closely with agronomists, logistics, and export teams

• Bachelor’s or master’s in agriculture / food technology / Horticulture
• Minimum 4 years of experience in grape export QA/QC
• Strong understanding of international export standards and certifications
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably in agri-export or supply chain)
• Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management tools
