Job Description

Role Overview:

The Senior Executive HR Operations will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operational activities, ensuring smooth execution of payroll, employee lifecycle management, and statutory compliance. The role demands strong analytical and Excel skills to support data accuracy, reporting, and process efficiency within the HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exits.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support preparation of HR letters, reports, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth HR operations.

Payroll Processing & Benefits Administration

  • Collate, validate, and process monthly payroll inputs (attendance, deductions, incentives, etc.) in coordination with Finance.
  • Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and reimbursements.
  • Administer employee benefits such as insurance, leave management, and other welfare schemes.
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, benefits, and deductions.

Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and Gratuity.
  • Liaise with consultants and authorities for filings, audits, and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance reporting.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain HR dashboards and reports using advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation, etc.).
  • Support audits, internal checks, and MIS preparation for management review.
  • Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to defined timelines.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel and HR data management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Payroll systems and HRIS tools.
  • Sound understanding of statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in HR Operations and Payroll / Compensation & Benefits.
  • Experience with HRMS tools and payroll software preferred.
