Position Summary
The Senior Engineering Analyst handles the complex analysis projects independently. This role demonstrates high level of accountability while owning complex projects and provide solution by avoiding the bottlenecks and ensuring quality compliance across technical deliverables. It demands strong coordination with Business Units, consistent progress tracking, continuous improvement and supervise entry level Engineering analysts.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Understand business needs and devise engineering solutions using analysis expertise to support bid, execution or failure and remediation studies.
- Define scope of work, plan, allocate resources, ensure execution and timely completion of assignments.
- Supervise & mentor other Engineers on design by analysis.
- Execute complex analysis projects.
- Lead multiple projects at the same time, including small cross-functional projects.
- Review work carried out by other analysts, lead design reviews.
- Approve deliveries made by team.
- Ensure compliance to established Quality Management Processes.
- Define functional processes and work towards continuous improvement.
- Interact and Communicate with business units frequently to understand their requirements.
- Share regular progress updates with business.
- Strive to achieve targets on relevant key performance indicators.
- Validate timesheets of team members assigned.
- Prepare & conduct technical trainings.
- Should be open to travel as per business needs.
- Work towards individual goals aligned with department and organizational objectives.
- Guide team members to have them accomplish their performance goals.
- Comply to organizational HR policies and procedures.
- Understand and adhere to organizational HSE policies and practices

Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/civil/Ocean/Naval Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 4 years of experience or Masters degree in Mechanical/Ocean/Naval Architecture Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 2 years of experience.
- Expert level knowledge on use of FEA & calculation for SURF Local and Global analysis and relevant CAE softwares (e.g. OrcaFlex, UFlex, ANSYS, RISA, Sesam etc.)
- Strong knowledge of more than one relevant Mechanical industry codes/standards (e.g.; ASME, DNV, API, AISC etc.)
- Basic knowledge of CAD software used.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
DESIRED
- Basic knowledge of project management software (e.g. Primavera)
