Our team thrives on integrity, performance, and continuous Overview : The IT Infrastructure Senior Engineer will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructures, implementing and monitoring cybersecurity measures, and administering network systems to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and security. This role demands strong problem-solving skills, hands-on technical expertise, and a proactive approach to infrastructure Responsibilities & Accountabilities (KRA) :
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (public, private, or hybrid) with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Oversee cybersecurity policies and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
  • Conduct system health checks and performance monitoring to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
  • Manage data backups, disaster recovery plans, and ensure minimal downtime in case of failures.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for escalated IT infrastructure issues.
  • Perform regular security audits to detect and prevent vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain updated documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and IT infrastructure policies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for technology upgrades and incident Skills & Competencies :
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in network administration (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Hands-on experience with network security tools and configurations (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security).
  • Expertise in cybersecurity best practices including patch management, incident response, and risk mitigation.
  • Solid understanding of server administration (Windows Server, Linux-based systems).
  • Familiarity with IT monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and documentation :
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Hardware, Networking, or Information Technology.
  • 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, cloud & virtualization, network security, and cybersecurity.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Professional, CompTIA Security+ will be an added advantage
