Job Description Production – Soldering Operations: Supervise and coordinate day-to-day soldering activities (manual and/or wave soldering). Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. Support production planning to meet daily/weekly output targets. Train operators on correct soldering techniques and work standards (IPC-A-610 preferred). Quality Assurance Perform visual inspections and functional tests on soldered joints and assemblies. Use inspection tools such as magnifiers, microscopes, and continuity testers. Identify defects (cold solder, bridging, dry joints, etc.) and lead root cause analysis. Process Control & Improvement Recommend improvements in soldering methods, materials, or fixtures to reduce defects. Ensure compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection protocols. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction. Other Details Education Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Familiarity with OEM sales cycles, government procurement processes, and fleet operations is a strong advantage. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
