Senior DevOps Engineer – Web & Cloud Applications

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with solid experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and web application development (React JS preferred). The candidate will work on containerized cloud deployments, pipeline optimization, and scalable infrastructure management across AWS, while collaborating closely with development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead migration of on-premise or legacy infrastructure to cloud-native containerized environments.
• Convert and optimize CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions.
• Maintain and improve Jenkins workflows and Ansible automation scripts.
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS CloudFormation templates.
• Create and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for deployment automation.
• Write and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes applications.
• Plan and oversee application release cycles.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including:
• Container image management via Amazon ECR
• Automated deployments and scaling
• Metrics, logging, and tracing for monitoring
• AWS networking configuration and cluster security
• Implement infrastructure monitoring using CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Handle incident response, preferably using PagerDuty.
• Manage artifacts with JFrog Artifactory via GitHub Actions.
• Automate object management in AWS S3 using GitHub Actions.
• Administer AWS IAM roles, policies, and permissions.
• Configure DNS and networking in AWS environments.
• Build and maintain scalable web applications using React JS.
• Develop Single Page Applications (SPA) and manage application state with Redux or React Context.
• Analyze, refactor, and enhance existing codebases.
• Develop reusable UI components, following Atomic Design principles when applicable.
• Use Webpack or equivalent bundlers for production builds.
• Deploy React applications across multiple environments.
• Work with TypeScript for maintainable and scalable codebases.
• Apply functional programming principles when appropriate.
• Implement styling using SCSS, SASS, or styled-components.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain clear documentation.

Required Skills

• 4 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EKS, IAM, CloudFormation, S3, CloudWatch, ECR).
• Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in ReactJS ecosystem (Redux, Context, Webpack, TypeScript, SCSS).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PagerDuty, Grafana, Kibana.
• Familiarity with Atomic Design principles and functional programming in frontend development.
• Hands-on experience with release planning and incident management.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
