Senior Sales and Applications Engineers

We are seeking passionate and technically skilled Senior Sales and Applications Engineers to join our growing team in Pune. If you have a strong foundation in engineering and experience in selling indexable carbide cutting tools, this is an opportunity to work with top-tier Swiss and German tool manufacturers and bring cutting-edge solutions to clients in automotive, aerospace, and medical industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target premium manufacturing clients.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships by understanding machining needs and offering the right technical solutions.
• Showcase the performance and precision of high-end carbide cutting tools during client meetings and demos.
• Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and tool trials.
• Collaborate with technical teams to offer customized tooling solutions.
• Keep updated with trends in machining technology, competitor offerings, and market insights.
• Maintain sales reports and forecasts, and consistently work towards achieving monthly/quarterly targets.
• Travel frequently across the West Zone (including Maharashtra and Gujarat) for client meetings, demonstrations, and relationship management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• 3–6 years of experience in technical or industrial sales roles (preferably in cutting tools, tooling solutions, or related engineering products).
• Solid understanding of machining processes, geometric tolerances, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to sell based on product performance and technological benefits rather than just price.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with customers and industries in Maharashtra and Gujarat is a strong advantage.
• We also welcome applicants who have completed CNC Machinist certifications from ITIs or have worked at Indo German Tool Rooms.
