This role involves leading design projects, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating cross-functionally to bring innovative and market-relevant fashion collections to life. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of seasonal collections aligned with global fashion trends and customer insights. Collaborate closely with buyers, product developers, and merchandisers to deliver commercially viable styles. Manage end-to-end design process from research, concept creation, sketching, tech packs, and sample development. Stay updated with current market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior to anticipate future trends. Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and finishes, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Supervise junior designers and provide creative direction and feedback. Ensure adherence to brand aesthetics, timelines, and design standards. Use digital tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, PLM systems) for efficient design processes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field. 10+ years of experience in fashion/apparel design, preferably for global markets. Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, commercial awareness, and technical skill. Excellent knowledge of garment construction, materials, and production techniques. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, 3D tools a plus).
