About The Role
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions using tools like Looker, SQL, and Python.
Key Responsibilities
What are you expected to do?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and understand business requirements.
- Design, develop, document, and maintain efficient BI solutions using Looker, SQL, and Python.
- Perform impact analysis of new business requirements on the existing BI landscape.
- Proactively build tools and processes to monitor and flag data quality gaps and issues within BI applications.
- Develop solutions enabling self-service analytics.
- Identify areas for improvement in data infrastructure, quality, and management processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Provide training and support on utilizing BI tools and solutions effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and relevant technology advancements.
What will make your candidature great ?
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer / Data Analyst.
- Experience as a hands-on BI Developer / Analyst working with self-service BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or QlikView.
- Well-versed in Python and SQL coding.
- Skills in data modeling and business logic processes.
- Experience with DWH design.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Able to work in a highly collaborative environment.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of dimensional modeling, and data visualization techniques.
