Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Chennai

Role Overview:

The individual handling this role would be responsible for P&L along with driving inside sales, Service delivery, and execution of the business. Responsibility to expand the business across the State.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the demand patterns and work with hub/region/state to generate the right demand
• Design and execute sales strategies across the region (North) to increase count of curated venue and vendor Partners across MMW(MakeMyWedding) and Venue Management functions on a month-on-month and quarter-on-quarter basis consistently.
• Design and execute conversion strategies to drive continuous monetization through relationship with vendors & venues
• Design and execute pricing strategies to improve the ARPU
• Design and execute effective Service delivery process to improve conversions, and increase revenue
• Drive continuous improvement in customer-relationship management, customer satisfaction rates, Vendor/Venue relationships
• Develop proposals for new business avenues, new plans, services, technology upgradation, longer term strategic tie-ups with vendors/venues
• Ensure optimal performance is driven from teams. Motivating, Engaging and retaining critical and High Performers.

Skill & Competencies:

• Should have worked in strong revenue-oriented/Sales & Operations roles
• Experience in leading large field sales force
• Extensive experience in B2B sales and relationship management
• Experience in Creating, developing, enhancing, and executing a comprehensive sales strategy
• Sound knowledge of Partner acquisition, development, and relationship Management
• Strategic thinking for channelling various streams of business

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree and full time MBA from reputed B-Schools.
• Candidates should have experience of 10 - 15 years in managing large sales force, preferably from E-Commerce & Consumer Internet Space domains with focus on real estate, hospitality etc.
