Job Description

Align Freight Forwarding goals with GMPL’s organisational priorities and cascade targets across the team.
Develop and execute innovative strategies to acquire new customers and retain existing ones.
Establish efficient processes and systems to deliver high-quality services that meet customer needs.
Compile business intelligence, share insights with the team, and drive timely decisions for course correction.
Benchmark industry and cross-industry best practices to elevate service standards.
Foster an open, inclusive work culture that encourages idea-sharing and collaboration.
Partner with HR to ensure the function is staffed with the right skills to achieve business goals.
Implement a robust review mechanism to track business performance and ensure targets are achieved.
Standardise weekly performance reporting and share updates with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with HO IT and regional teams to adopt technologies that reduce process time, lower cost, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Support Regional Managers to grow market share for the Freight Forwarding vertical.
Engage key customers to understand challenges and ensure proactive resolution to strengthen loyalty.
Ensure full compliance with ISO requirements and maintain green status.
Identify white-space opportunities and develop strategies to expand into new markets.
