Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the North American and European markets, managing the end-to-end sales process and forging long-term partnerships to drive company revenue. This individual will drive revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and relationship management, whilst ensuring exceptional customer experience at our industry events.

Important: This role requires working on European and US business hours to effectively engage with our target markets.

Job Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Identify, qualify and close high-value opportunities across North American and European target markets

Manage the full sales cyclefrom prospecting to negotiation and closing deals

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals

Collaborate with delegate sales, marketing and operations teams to tailor offerings to client needs

Achieve or exceed monthly sales target of USD 13,000 and quarterly/annual revenue goals

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client meetings

Customer Relationship Management

Maintain comprehensive CRM records of all customer interactions to ensure accurate tracking of client engagement and sales pipeline progression

Provide regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts and performance to management

Ensure data integrity and consistency across all customer records

Event Management & Customer Success

Travel to company events to ensure allocated customers receive exceptional service and experience maximum satisfaction

Actively engage with clients during events to secure repeat business commitments

Support the event operations team before and during each event, including pre-event client liaison and on-site coordination.

Required Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

3-4 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in events, media or professional services

Demonstrated experience selling to North American or European markets (mandatory)

Experience in high-value B2B sales and long-cycle deal closures

Ability and willingness to work European and US business hours

Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills

Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach

Self-motivated with ability to work independently, take ownership and drive results in a fast-paced

environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management

Understanding of the semiconductor, electronics, mobility, financial services or power generation sectors

Comfortable with international travel for events (2-4 times per year)

Previous experience in the events or conference industry

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive base salary with attractive uncapped commission structure

High earning potential for top performers (OTE: INR 18,90,000 - 20,30,000)
