Job Description

The Business Development Executive/SrBDE is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability across all product categories by effectively managing sales processes and relationships with customers and channel partners
This role focuses on implementing strategic sales initiatives and achieving performance targets to enhance branch performance

Key Roles Responsibilities:

Drive revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies for all product categories, including DP, International, Retail, Cargo, and E-Retail
Monitor branch revenue performance against targets, identifying deviations and taking corrective actions as needed Enhance profitability of branch customers and key accounts through regular analysis and relationship management Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and sales process guidelines within the branch Follow up on product-specific sales leads and ensure timely closure in collaboration with the telemarketing team Negotiate rates and service offers with customers, ensuring compliance with pricing guidelines Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential large clients and channel partners to maximize revenue Track product-wise yields and implement plans to meet established targets Ensure timely collections and manage account receivables to meet financial objectives Update prospect details in the SAFFIRE software package daily and communicate service issues to internal and external customers

Qualifications Experience:

Education:Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; a Masters degree (MBA) is preferred
Relevant certifications in sales management or marketing (eg, Certified Sales Professional (CSP), Professional Certified Marketer (PCM)) are advantageous Experience:Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing sales operations within the logistics or express delivery industry Strong experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans, monitoring performance metrics, and achieving financial targets Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales analytics tools to track performance metrics and customer interactions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external clients

1Revenue Growth- % achievement of branch revenue targets- % increase in overall sales volume year-over-year- Revenue generated from new customer acquisitions

2Customer Relationship Management- Customer satisfaction score (NPS or similar metrics)- % of customer complaints resolved within defined turnaround times

3Operational Efficiency- % adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)- Average turnaround time for closing sales leads

4Team Development- Employee engagement scores within the sales team- % of team members participating in training and development programs

5Cost Management- % adherence to budget for sales-related expenses- % reduction in cost per lead generated

6Performance Monitoring- Timeliness of reporting on sales performance metrics to management- % of initiatives completed on schedule

7Market Expansion- Number of new clients acquired in targeted segments- % increase in market share for assigned product categories
