We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, such as Cerner, Epic, Athena, and Oracle Health, combined with an in-depth understanding of healthcare data analysis and mapping processes. This position requires a proactive individual, skilled in collaborating with stakeholders in a partially overlapping EST time zone, to define and execute business solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and map EHR data to ensure seamless integration with destination sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements
• Drive Agile processes by delivering actionable analysis and supporting sprint planning and delivery activities
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to clarify business objectives and ensure alignment across teams
• Support the creation and optimization of data pipelines to process Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR)
• Develop detailed documentation, including user stories, functional specifications, and data flow diagrams
• Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams for clear communication across all project phases
• Propose solutions to optimize EMR system workflows and enhance overall data management capabilities
• Monitor progress of projects against timelines, problem-solving challenges as they arise

Requirements

• 7-10 years of IT experience
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, with prior healthcare domain experience working with EHR systems
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards like HL7 and FHIR, complemented by experience with platforms like Cerner, Epic, and Athena
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and requirements traceability management for healthcare projects
• Demonstrated background in requirements analysis, with specific experience in data mapping and creating technical documentation
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare workflows
• Understanding of cloud-based environments like AWS for healthcare solutions
• English level – B2 or higher, both spoken and written

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or SAFe for Business Analysis or Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with Oracle Health systems or similar advanced EHR solutions
• Capability to work with data visualization tools to enhance data analysis and reporting
