We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeler to support and enhance our enterprise data architecture. You will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining robust, scalable data models while driving data strategy initiatives and collaborating across teams to meet business requirements. Responsibilities Assist in establishing, maintaining, and evolving information architecture best practices, guidelines, principles, and standards aligned with the data strategy team's vision Drive data modeling initiatives, and support the architecture, design, and development of overall data architecture Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and following Novartis guidelines Capture and maintain metadata using the enterprise data catalog solution Review and evaluate proposed data models in packaged or commercial applications before purchase Mentor and guide individuals on data strategy directives, principles, and standards within the data community Ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within the scope of enterprise information architecture Collaborate with business partners, IT teams, architecture teams, and contractors to design and prepare data models that meet business requirements Define and promote compliance with best practices, including participation in data design reviews throughout the development lifecycle Requirements A university degree equivalent to BS/MS level in Computer or Life Sciences 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in business process reengineering, user requirements gathering, workshop facilitation techniques, and change management Proficiency in Data Analytics and SQL Expertise in Data Modeling with the ability to create Erwin diagrams Knowledge of DWBI (Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Nice to have 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within the commercial IT function Familiarity with Agile methodologies and team coordination Understanding of Collibra software We offer Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects Focused individual development Benefit package: Health benefits Retirement benefits Paid time off Flexible benefits Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.)
