Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for packaging and pharmaceutical machinery.
  • Lead automation projects from concept to commissioning.
  • Collaborate with design, mechanical, and electrical teams for system integration.
  • Develop and test software solutions using platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues during development, FAT, and SAT.
  • Document programs, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
  • Train and guide junior automation engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards (GMP, GAMP, etc.).
  • Support service and installation teams during site commissioning and client support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 5–10 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in the packaging or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong programming knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.).
  • Experience in HMI/SCADA platforms (WinCC, FactoryTalk, iFIX, etc.).
  • Good understanding of servo systems, sensors, VFDs, and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for commissioning and customer support.
